Uninstalling RealPlayer
You can use the instruction below to remove RealPlayer from your computer according to the operating system you have. Adware and toolbars are often added to your computer during software installation. We recommend you install Adwcleaner which is free adware software, to remove any unwanted homepage hijack, toolbars, extensions and so forth. Please refer to the instructions at the end of this page.
Uninstalling RealPlayer on Windows 10
- Click on the Start Menu and select Settings.
- Click on System.
- Click on Apps & features.
- Identify in the list of programs, the software you wish to uninstall, or search for it by typing the software name, In this case RealPlayer.
- Once you find RealPlayer, Select it and click Uninstall.
- Follow the instructions on screen to uninstall RealPlayer.
Uninstalling RealPlayer on Windows 7 & Vista
- Click on the Start Menu and select Control Panel.
- Click Programs and then Uninstall a Program.
- Identify in the list of programs the software you wish to uninstall, in this case, RealPlayer. Once you find RealPlayer, select it and click Uninstall/Change.
- Follow the instructions on screen to uninstall RealPlayer.
Uninstalling RealPlayer on Windows 8/8.1
- Click on the Start Menu (Win 8.1) or the Windows Key.
- Find the RealPlayer icon on the screen and right click on it.
- Look at the bottom of the screen and click on the Uninstall icon.
- Make sure again that the software that is highlighted is indeed RealPlayer (if not, find it in the list of programs, and select it).
- Click Uninstall/Change.
- Follow the instructions on screen to uninstall RealPlayer.
Uninstalling RealPlayer on Windows XP
- Click on the Start Menu and select Control Panel.
- Click on the Add or Remove Programs icon.
- Identify in the list of programs, the software you wish to uninstall. In this case RealPlayer. Once you find RealPlayer, Select it and click Change/Remove.
- Follow the instructions on screen to uninstall RealPlayer.
Removing toolbars, homepage hijack and other adware traces from your computer

- Click Clean (you will see this only after a complete scan)
